Four first-half goals by men's soccer sophomores helped the Saints to a 4-1 win at St. John Fisher on Friday night, improving the team's record to 3-0 this season. Both Ryan Crouse and Kenny Schimpf tallied their first collegiate goals against the Cardinals, each just seconds after subbing into the game.

Kelly got the Saints on the board with his first of the year at the one-minute mark when he one-timed a low cross from Sinclair behind goalkeeper Joe Catalfamo from 10 yards out. Imade extended the lead to 2-0 on a set piece, getting a head on the corner kick from Callahan for his first of the year as well.

In the 25th minute, the Cardinals cut the deficit in half when St. Lawrence goalkeeper Jackson Schierbeek came out of the box to challenge Fisher's Jeff Meyers to a 50-50 ball, but Meyers prevailed and was able to go in alone for the finish and the home team's only goal.

Schierbeek finished with four saves for the Saints in the win.

At the 32:11 mark of the first half, Crouse subbed in for first-year defender Preston Gordon and played just 22 seconds before giving the Saints a 3-1 lead when he beat Catalfamo to a lead pass from Kelly and touched the ball into the far lower 90.

Five minutes later, Schmipf subbed into the game as Callahan prepared to take another corner for the Saints from the far side. The Watertown, N.Y. native was perfectly positioned on the opposite side to finish the scoring and tucked a header just inside the post for the final 4-1 margin.

Crouse and Schimpf were also two of seven Saints who made their 2016 debut on Friday night. Other players seeing their first touches of the season for the Scarlet and Brown included: Kevin O'Neill, Preston Gordon, Conor Higgins, William Manory and Dylan DeTurk.

St. Lawrence finished with a slight 13-11 edge in total shots and 7-5 advantage in shots on goal. Meanwhile, St. John Fisher had six corner kick opportunities to the Saints' three.

The Saints will wrap up their western New York road trip with a game at SUNY Geneseo at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
