St. Lawrence University hockey players swept the ECAC Hockey MLX Skates weekly awards following their home victories over Cornell and Colgate as sophomore center Kyle Flanagan was named Player of the Week and freshman goaltender Matt Weninger earned both Goaltender of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors.

Weninger's goaltender of the week award is his second this season as he was also named goaltender of the week on Oct. 12. He stopped 60 of 61 shots in the two weekend games, making 29 saves for his first collegiate win and first collegiate shutout in a 3-0 win over Cornell on Friday night and coming back with 31 saves in a 4-1 win over Colgate on Saturday. The Saint rookie goaltender has started the last eight games in a row for the Saints and has a 1.68 goals against average with a .941 save percentage in his last five starts.

Kyle Flanagan scored three goals and assisted on a fourth in the two weekend games. He snapped a scoreless tie with the eventual game winner in the third period of Friday's game, registering his first goal since January of last season, and had two goals and an assist in the 4-1 win over Colgate. His two-goal game against the Raiders was the second of his career.
