Junior Jake Fredericks finished sixth in the 110 hurdles for the top finish for the St. Lawrence University men's track team at the Bucknell Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
Fredericks ran 15.38 seconds for the lone individual top ten finish for a Saint athlete in the meet, which was comprised primarily of Division I and II competitors. The Saint 4x800 relay team of Jon Eng, Corey Hahnl, Spencer Fausel and Tim Metzger ran 8:14.89 and finished 10th.
Josh Martell finished 13th in the javelin with a throw of 51.63 meters and Taylor Macci was 13th in the pole vault at 4.05 meters with AJ Blaisdell finishing 18th in the hammer with a 45.73 meter throw for field event top 20 finishes for the Saints while Jarell Roberts was 13th in the 100 in 11.11 and Macci was 20th in the 400 in 51.16 for the other top 20 finishes in track events.
Seth Jackson was 37th in the 5000 in 14:58.92 while Fausel was 60th in the 1500 in 4:02.46. Eng was 37th in the 800 and Fredericks added a 31st place finish in the 400 hurdles.
