Aimee Caligiore carded the low round of the tournament at the Ravenswood Golf Course in Rochester on Sunday with a 78, finishing second overall in a 33 player field as the St. Lawrence University women's golf team concluded its 2012 season with a third place finish at the Nazareth College Invitational.
Caligiore, who ranked 17th in Division III in scoring average going into the Nazareth tournament, remains in contention for a second straight NCAA individual invitation.
The Saints junior opened with a round of 84 on Saturday at the Monroe Country Club and came back with a 78 on Sunday at Ravenswood to trail medalist Sharon Li of Ithaca by three strokes.
Melissa Snizek finished tied for sixth with rounds of 83 and 90 for a 173 total while Kelly Hale and Maddie Moore tied for 14th with 191 totals. Hale shot 89-102 and Moore 93-98.
Ithaca won the team title with a 335-351-686 while Cortland was second at 701 and the Saints shot team rounds of 349 and 368 for a 717 total. LeMoyne and Nazareth tied for fourth at 800 with William Smith sixth at 804.
