Megan Kellogg and Molly Lennon dominated their races to lead the St. Lawrence University women's indoor track and field team at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference indoor championships on Saturday afternoon at Newell Field House in Canton.

Kellogg broke a school record in the 1,000, cutting more than four seconds off her personal best and beating the record set by Wendy Pavlus '11 by 0.99 seconds with a time of two minutes, 57.48 seconds. She won the race by nearly 5.5 seconds.

Lennon dropped more than a second off her personal best in the 500, finishing in 1:17.56 to win by more than a second and a half. Lennon added a fifth-place finish in the 200, improving her time from yesterday's preliminary round by .03 seconds with a 26.75.

Meghann Wood added a third-place finish in the shot put for the Saints. She was sitting in fourth place with a mark of 12.06 meters with just one throw remaining, but jumped up one spot with a toss of 12.23 on her final throw of the day.

Other scoring performances for the Saints included: Cassidy Scott (sixth place in the mile), Caroline Driscoll (sixth place in the 3,000), Morgan Rosser (sixth place in the triple jump), Laura Gardner (seventh place in the 200) and Ann Greene (eighth place in the high jump).

Lennon and Gardner were joined by Holly Riccitelli and Jacqui Ebeling in the Saints' fifth-place 4x400 relay, and Scott, Ashley Leta, Rachael Waldrop and Gabriella Gurney teamed up to finish fifth in the 4x800 relay.

St. Lawrence finished fourth in the 13-team championship with 78 points. Ithaca won the team title with 218.5 points, while Rochester was second with 132 and RIT was third with 108.

The Saints will head to Ithaca next weekend for the ECAC Championships.
