St. Lawrence University's women's 4x800 relay team won its race and four Saint athletes took individual second place finishes in day two of the Cortland Invitational on Saturday.
The Saint team of Katie Loignon, Jenna Hulton, Jacquelynn Lemme and Wendy Pavlus ran 9:51.51 to win the 4x800 by 21 seconds over second place Oneonta in the lone Saint event win on Saturday.
Emily Palmer finished second in 17.62 in the 100 hurdles, Pavlus was second din 2:23.39 with Toria Koutras sixth and Amanda Moreland seventh in the 800, Tori Bean was second with a 10.90 meter series with Jessica Venezia fourth and Emily Rebehn fifth in the triple jump and Lisa Baron was second with a 10.79 meter throw with Kristen Linder seventh and Jessica Ingalls eighth in the shot put.
Other top finishes for the Saints in the Saturday portion of the two-day non-scoring meet included a third place finish in the 100 meters by Hannah Kinsey in 13.36, a fourth by the 4x100 relay team of Emily Rebehn, Bean, Kelsey Rebehn and Kinsey in 53.75, a fourth by Heather Cutler with Linder seventh and Bean eighth in the discus, a seventh by Marissa Rescott with Emily Rebehn eighth and Megan Nuffer ninth in the 400 hurdles, a seventh by Kearsten Cubit with Kelsey Rebehn eighth in th3 400 and a sixth by Kathryn Christensen in the high jump.
Members of the Saint outdoor track and field team will participate in the Penn Relays Thursday through Saturday, April 28-30.
