Grace Kelly recorded 13 kills and three blocks to lead the St. Lawrence University volleyball team to a three-set sweep over SUNY Canton Tuesday night at the Roos House in Canton.
The Saints (10-15) won by scores of 25-18, 25-18 and 27-25.
Kelly led a balanced attack as Masha Kolesnikova, Julia Wagner and Mac Barnes each contributed seven kills. Katie Kull handed out 38 assists and had 11 digs while Kolesnikova added a team-leading 17 digs. Barnes also had four blocks for the Saints.
Kull became just the fourth player is St. Lawrence history to reach the 2,000 assist milestone.
St. Lawrence returns to action this weekend in the final round of Liberty League play at Union and Skidmore. The Saints will face Vassar and Union Friday in Schenectady before finishing league play Saturday against Skidmore and Bard in Saratoga Springs.
