St. Lawrence University's men's squash team improved to 9-5 on the season with a 9-0 blanking of 24th-ranked Hamilton College on Thursday at the Robie Squash Center.
The Saints, ranked 12th nationally, will conclude the regular season with matches at Williams and Middlebury on Feb. 11-12.
The Saints won eight of the nine counting matches by 3-0 sweeps on Thursday and also won a pair of exhibition matches against the Continentals.
Sebastian Reidelsheimer went five games against Hamilton's Ted Black at four, trading wins in games one and two with Reidelsheimer taking a 2-1 lead with a 11-6 win in game three. Black came back to win 12-10 in game four to force a fifth game which Reidelsheimer won 11-9.
Vir Seth beat Cooper Veysey 11-0, 12-10, 11-5 at one, Kyle Ogilvy was a 11-3, 11-4, 11-0 winner over Martin Bawden at two and Chris Fernandez moved up to three in the lineup and topped Alex Wood, 11-7, 11-8, 11-5.
Amay Merchant beat Harry Keeshan 11-6, 11-9, 11-6 at five, Duncan Maxwell was a 11-4, 11-3, 11-4 winner over Ronald German at six, Mike Badali beat Peter Harrison 11-3, 11-2, 11-5 at seven, Peter Lynn beat Tim Gray 11-8, 11-1, 11-3 at eight and Thoma Kraft beat Ted Nehrbus 11-6, 11-5, 11-3 at nine to move into fourth on the all-time Saint win list.
In exhibition matches, Max Frew beat Walker Lourie of Hamilton 11-9, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4 and Russell Woeltz topped Austin Engros 11-1, 8-11, 11-4, 11-9.
