CANTON -- Four reached double-figures as the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team downed Bard College, 79-59, in Liberty League action on Friday night.

The Saints, who stretched their win-streak to six games, used an 18-3 run over the last six minutes of the first half that proved to be too much for the visitors.

St. Lawrence, which improved to 14-8 and 10-4 in the league, was led by senior co-captain Garrett Sharlow's 18 points and nine rebounds.

Joining him in double-figures was senior co-captain Ralph Temgoua (14 points, 6 rebounds), junior Kyle Miller (11 points) and senior Terry Parham (10 points, 6 assists).

Bard fell to 4-17 and 1-11 in the league.

After taking a 34-19 lead into the locker room, the Saints stretched their lead to on a 3-pointer by Miller.

Bard trimmed the home team's 18 point lead down to seven, twice. The last time was at 12:09 left in the game, but a 10-0 run sparked by Temgoua pushed the lead back up to 17, and the Saints didn't allow Bard to get closer than 13 for the remainder of the game.

The Saints will host Vassar today at 4 p.m.
