After tying the game in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings, Rochester came around to score in the bottom of the 12th for a 7-6 victory to complete the four-game sweep of St. Lawrence. The Yellowjackets shut out the Saints in game one, 3-0. After starting the season 8-1, the Saints are now 8-8 overall and 4-7 in conference games.

Today marked the first time the Saints have been shut out this season, as they were held to just four hits in the opening game from Michael LeFevre, Kyle MacDonald, Isaac Lewis and Mic Regan.

Rochester scored a pair of runs in the third and tacked on another in the bottom of the sixth inning against senior Andrew Schreyack, who pitched all six innings in the loss.

Now 1-2 on the season, Schreyack allowed nine hits and two earned runs with four strikeouts.

In the second game Syron led the Saints with four hits in six plate appearances, while Liszewski and Regan finished with three hits apiece.

The Saints jumped out to an early lead in game two, their first of the weekend, with a run by Lewis in the top of the first inning.

The Yellowjackets tied the game in the bottom half of the second, but the Saints responded with two in the third to retake a 3-1 lead. Liszewski hit an RBI single to center to score Schreyack and Regan followed with a single of his own to left that plated Adam Reichel.

Rochester had pulled within a run before Schreyack ripped solo homerun in the top of the seventh to increase the St. Lawrence lead to 4-2. But the home team responded with a pair in the bottom half of the frame to knot things at 4-4.

With a man on first and two outs in the top of the eighth inning Michael LeFevre tripled to right center to score Isaac Lewis, who reached on a hit by pitch, and help the Saints retake a 5-4 lead.

Schreyack led off the inning with a single to center field and was pinch-run for by Matt Phelan. Kyle Liszewski singled to put runners on the corners for Mic Regan, who drew a four-pitch walk to load the bases with one out. Senior Chris Fernandez grounded out to the right side to drive in Phelan for the Saints sixth run before Lewis flew out to left to end the inning.

Rochester led off the bottom of the ninth with a pair of singles and a sac bunt to put two runners in scoring position with one out. A sac fly by pinch-hitter Josh Ludwig made it 6-5 and then Tyler Schmidt singled through right side to drive in Nolan Schultz to pull even at 6-6 and send the game to extra innings.

In the bottom of the tenth, Rochester was threatening once again but after Sam Slutsky singled up the middle, Regan unloaded from center field and threw out Jake Meyerson, who was the potential game-winning run, at the plate.

Meyerson scored the Yellowjackets winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 12th inning on an error by shortstop Chris Fernandez.

Frank Grady, the fourth pitcher used by Head Coach Pete Hoy, was the pitcher of record as he came in in relief to start the 11th inning. In one and two-thirds innings, he gave up just two hits and struck out two. The run he allowed was unearned.

Jake Farrell, who started on the mound for the Saints, threw six innings and allowed nine hits and three earned runs with four strikeouts before he was relieved by graduate student Ben Jenkins, who pitched a third of an inning in the seventh. Liam Rogers came in to finish out the seventh inning and went three and two-thirds allowing five hits and two runs while striking out two.
