Seniors Elkie Vandenbeemt, Olivia Arroyo, Anna Young and Samantha Miller accounted for six of the Saints nine wins as the women's tennis team blanked Luther 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon in Orlando, Fl. Vandenbeemt and Young were both dual winners, as were junior Morgan McNeal and first-year student Emily Wyman.

Vandenbeemt and McNeal teamed up for a 9-7 win at No. 1 doubles before winning singles matches 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively. Anna Young and Georgia Comber finished 8-3 in the second doubles position, while Wyman and Hallie Young claimed the third spot, 8-4.

Additionally, Arroyo defeated Luther's Jenna Myers 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Miller downed Madisen Crow 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6.

The Saints improved to 7-2 in dual matches this season with three to play on their spring training schedule; including a pair of matches on Thursday against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Stevens Institute of Technology.
