Senior Mark Secko (Shoreham, NY) was among three Clarkson Men's Soccer team members to be chosen as Liberty League All-Stars, gaining Second-Team status on the annual conference all-star team. Junior Matt Konecnik (Waterford, NY) and freshman Kurt Knolle (East Aurora, NY) also gained Liberty League Honorable Mention selection.
Secko, in his second year with the Golden Knights after transferring from Stonybrook, was picked for the all-star team for the second consecutive season. He finished the season tied for first in goals (3) and second in points (7). Over the past two seasons, he has scored more goals (9) and points (21) than any other Clarkson player.
Konecnik, a junior back, was the first Clarkson defensive player picked for the all-star squad since 2004. Konecnik started 15 games in 2010, scoring one assist on the campaign.
Knolle, a freshman midfielder, provided Clarkson with a spark off the bench in the early going before earning a starting role. He led the team in goals (3) and points (9), while ranking second in assists (3). Knolle was the first Clarkson freshman to lead the team in scoring since 2003.
