(Geneseo, N.Y.)- Sophomore David Schneider (Indianapolis, Ind.) scored two goals on Saturday as the SUNY Canton men’s ice hockey team lost to SUNY Geneseo 5-3.
Junior Cory Giczewski (Fountain Valley, Calif.) added a goal and an assist for the Roos, who dipped to 7-14 overall.
Sophomores J.R. Lafferty (Williamstown, N.J.) and Dave Ferris (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) each had an assist, and sophomore Morgan Barr (Almonte, Ontario) made 40 saves in goal.
Ryan Bulach scored twice to lead the Knights, and Adrian Rubeniuk recorded 22 saves.
The Roos return to the home ice next weekend for a two-game series against Franklin Pierce University. The two teams play Friday night at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday at 3 p.m.
