St. Lawrence University's women' squash team won matches one through three in their final home match of the regular season at the Robie Squash Courts on Tuesday, but Hamilton College swept the rest for a 6-3 match win.
Hamilton, ranked 15th nationally, improved to 12-4 on the season while the Saints are 2-7.
Saint number one Jill Baker continued an outstanding rookie season with her seventh win of the season, beating Hilary Gray 11-9, 13-11, 11-2. Emily Terry, playing at two with junior Brigitte Tousignant still out with injury, was a 11-9 8-11, 12-10, 12-10 winner over Rachel Newman at two and Zoe Kagan fought her way to a 3-2 win over Lillie Simourian at three, 9-11, 11-5, 14-12, 6-11, 11-3.
The rest of the matches went Hamilton's way as Hannah Coffin beat Britt Coxe, 11-2, 11-4, 11-6 at four, Lindsay Arader beat Val Quan 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 at five, Elizabeth Morris as a 11-5, 11-8, 11-3 winner over Sarah Neilson at six, Izzy Weisman turned back Carolyn Fisher 12-10, 11-3, 11=5 at seven, Hillary Kolodner beat Parker Benedict 11-3, 11-7, 11-3 at eight and Kelsey Bogle was a 11-3, 11-2, 11-5 winner over Paige Buchanan at nine. Katie Rogers was a 11-4, 11-1, 11-5 winner over Cat Sanderson at ten.
