Fellow seniors Ashley Norris and Greta Massey also factored into the scoring for the Saints with a goal apiece, while Schmalz picked up a team-high three ground balls and Jacqueline Sovie finished with two caused turnovers. Morgan Barlow and Campbell Armstrong also scored for the Saints.

Campbell Armstrong gave the Saints' a two-goal margin at 4:58, but RPI scored two straight near the end of the half to tie the game at 4-4 heading into the break.

RPI took its first lead since the game's opening goal at 28:49 of the second half with another from Aslansan, and went on to score three in a row to take a 7-4 lead.

St. Lawrence pulled within two three times during the second half, but could not fully close the gap against the Engineers.

Barlow made it 7-5 in favor of the visitors at 17:51 and, after RPI answered with a goal by Morgan Doyle, Massey cut the deficit to 8-6 with her 12th of the season at 15:08.

Norris and Schmalz rounded out the scoring for the Saints at 9:07 and 7:02, respectively, before Bolger gave the Engineers a pair of insurance goals in the final minutes to push to the 12-8 margin.

The Saints finished with a 27-26 edge in total shots, while RPI had a 19-18 advantage in shots on goal.
