The St. Lawrence women's hockey team returns to Appleton Arena following a 13-day hiatus for the last conference weekend of 2014 and will play host to Colgate and Cornell on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Saints enter the weekend in sole possession of third place in the ECAC Hockey standings. Cornell is sixth, while Colgate is in a three-way tie with Yale and Brown in the eighth spot.

Saturday, Dec. 6 | Appleton Arena – Canton, N.Y. | 3 p.m. **

The Saints (7-5-2, 4-2-1 ECAC) posted a 3-2-1 record in the month of November and were 2-0-1 against nationally-ranked opponents. Both of those wins came the last time the Saints played at home, as they edge then-No. 10 Dartmouth 2-1 before upsetting then-No. 4 Harvard 5-4 in overtime. The team's most recent result was a 2-2 tie against the fourth-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats in Hamden, Conn.

Junior forward Jenna Marks led the Saints last month with five goals and three assists and a pair of multi-point games. She earned player of the week honors following the Princeton/Quinnipiac road trip after putting up two goals and two assists on the weekend. The Cottage Grove, Wisconsin native leads the team with 16 points, while sophomore Brooke Webster tops the team in goals (9) and senior Jacqueline Wand and first-year Kennedy Marchment and tied with Marks with a team-leading eight assists.

Senior netminder Carmen MacDonald carries a 6-4-2 record, 2.34 goals against average and .922 save percentage into the weekend series.

About the Raiders:

The Raiders come to Canton with a 3-11-0 overall record and 1-4-0 mark against conference opponents. One of their three wins came against Robert Morris in October, whom the Saints swept in an early-season series. Colgate's lone conference win came in the form of an overtime victory over Brown.

The team is led by freshman forward Megan Sullivan, who has already notched six goals and five assists for 11 points this season, including three goals and two assists in conference games. Fellow freshman Shelby Perry leads 'Gate with seven assists.

Ashlynne Rando has seen a majority of the minutes in net for Colgate this season, with a goals against average of 2.81 and save percentage of .897 through nine appearances.

The Saints swept the Raiders during the 2013-14 and have not dropped a game to Colgate since Jan. 30, 2010.

About the Big Red:

The defending ECAC Hockey champions got off to a rocky start this season, dropping its first four games, but has strung wins together of late and enters the weekend at 4-6-1 overall and 3-2-0 in ECAC Hockey.

Senior forward Emily Fulton leads the Big Red in all offensive categories with six goals and nine assists for 15 points so far this season. Classmates Jillian Saulnier and Brianne Jenner, who both missed a pair of games to compete with Team Canada in the Four Nations Cup, aren't far behind with four goals and seven assists a piece.

Sophomore goaltender Paula Voorheis has started all but one game for Cornell this season and carries a 3.25 goals against average and .883 save percentage into Friday's matchup with Clarkson.

In 2013-14, the Saints were 0-1-1 against the Big Red, dropping an early season game 6-4 at Lynah Rink before earning a 1-1 tie in January at Appleton. The last time St. Lawrence topped Cornell on home ice was 6-2 victory on Jan. 18, 2008.

**Please note the time change for Saturday's game against the Big Red, as it was originally scheduled for 3 p.m.
