St. Lawrence University's 4x400 relay trimmed nearly four seconds off the SLU record set a week ago and moved into potential NCAA Division III qualifying position at the Oneonta May Meet on Saturday evening.
The Saint team of Jessica Marini, Hannah Kinsey, Marisa Turner and Carly Stine ran 3:51.31, finishing second to Williams and inside the top 16-time for NCAA qualifying in Saturday's meet. They will have another opportunity to improve that time at the ECAC Championships next weekend.
Divya Biswal also had a performance which is a potential NCAA qualifier as she finished second in the triple jump with a 11.71 meter series which is inside the top 22 nationally at the time of the meet.
Kristen Linder won the shot put with a throw of 11.27 meters, Sydney el was third in 1:00.33 and Anna Pond seventh in 1:01.98 in the 400, Kylie Morris was fourth at 1.58 meters and Turner was fifth at 1.53 meters in the high jump and Marini ran 1:05.30 in the 400 hurdles in the other Saint performances at Saturday's meet.
