St. Lawrence University sophomore Emily Terry won her opening round match in the Holleran Division while classmate Jill Baker was knocked out of the tournament by injury in the Ramsay Division as competition got underway in in the College Squash Association Individual Nationals at Princeton on Friday.
Baker, seeded 31st in the Ramsay Division for the top 32 players in the nation, was forced out of her match with Kanzy El Defrawy of Trinity by injury.
Terry beat Alexandra Love of Haverford 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 in the Holleran opening round, but lost her second round match to Annie Ballaine of Yale, 11-4, 12-10, 11-7 and will play in the consolation round on Saturday.
