Senior Lexi Brown recorded a team-high 12 kills as the St. Lawrence University Volleyball team won a three-set sweep victory over SUNY Plattsburgh Thursday night at Memorial Hall in Plattsburgh.
The Saints (13-11) scored the win with set scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-17 over the Cardinals (7-15).
Brown led the offense with her 12 kills while Maddy Ruehl added six and Cristina Deschaine was credited with five. Katie Kull had 26 assists and Masha Kolesnikova served three aces. Mariah Dignan led the defensive effort with 11 digs while Katie Rowell and Kolesnikova each had five for the Saints.
St. Lawrence continues the road trip with three matches at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Saints will face MIT at 6 pm Friday and then take on SUNY New Paltz and Western New England Saturday.
