St. Lawrence University senior Divya Biswal is among a record 147 NCAA female student-athletes who have been named 2015 Woman of the Year honorees by conferences and independent schools.

Biswal, a two-time national champion and the regional and national field athlete of the year in Division III in track and field, is one of two Liberty League athletes in the final 147 nominees. She was the Outstanding Field Performer in the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second straight year and finished her career with nine consecutive All America finishes in the jumps.

The Liberty League and New York State Collegiate Track Conference champion in both the long and triple jumps and the 100 meter hurdles, she completes her SLU career with program records in the long and triple jumps indoors and outdoors, the 60 and 100 hurdles and as part of a record-setting 4x200 relay. She had a total of 31 individual championships and six relay titles between the Liberty League and NYSCTC and her nine All America awards are the second most in Saint women's program history.

The Woman of the Year honorees, selected from the record 480 school nominees, represent college athletes from 18 different sports spanning all three NCAA divisions. Of those recognized, 57 honorees competed in Division I, 39 competed in Division II and 51 competed in Division III.

The Woman of the Year selection committee will next select the top 10 honorees in each division. These top 30 honorees will be announced in early September. The selection committee will then choose and announce the top nine finalists (three from each division) at the end of September. The NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics will vote from amongst those nine finalists to determine the 2015 Woman of the Year.

The top 30 honorees will be honored and the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year will be named at the annual ceremony in Indianapolis on Oct. 18.
