Junior Joe Riley won his third straight game in game one of a Liberty League doubleheader with the Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday and senior Jeff Kott went three for four with four runs driven in to lead the Saints to a 10-5 in game two at Monroe Community College in Rochester on Friday.

A scheduled doubleheader on Saturday was postponed due to the lack of playable fields.

The Saints stretched their winning streak to seven games and are 2-0 in league play after Friday's sweep. Riley pitched a two hitter, struck out eight and walked none in game one. Zane Fish gave the Saints a 1-0 lead in the top of the third with a solo home run, but RIT tied it up with two singles and a run-scoring wild pitch in the bottom of the inning as Riley surrendered his first run in three starts this season.

SLU took the lead in the top of the fifth as Bryan Palermo hit a one-out single and Carter Franz delivered a two-run homer.

In game two, the Saints spotted Andrew Schreyack a 5-0 lead through three and the sophomore won his second of the year in three starts, giving up two runs in six innings. Chris Kellogg, Michael Dell'Olio and Andrew Weitzel each pitched an inning of relief.

Palermo, Matt DeLuca and Mark Syron had two hits to back Kott and Khifer O'Connor drove in a three runs in game two. Kott delivered a two-run double and O'Connor a two run single in the five-run sixth for the Saints.
