Nick Stenicka and Alita Rogers both had 19th place finishes for the St. Lawrence University Men's and Women's Alpine Ski teams Saturday in the Slalom race wrapping up the second day of competition at the University of Vermont Winter Carnival at Stowe, Vermont.
Stenicka led the men with a 19th place finish earning 24 team points as he finished with a combined time of 1:56.78. Kei Kellburg was the second St. Lawrence finisher taking 28th overall with a time of 2:01.26 while Taber Engelken was 31st in 2:02.55 as the duo scored 20 and 17 points respectively for the Saints.
Rogers led the women's team with a 19th place finish in 2:08.18 earning 21 team points and Amie Lonza and Montana Marzario finished 26th and 27th to score a combined 31 points for the Saints.
The men placed sixth overall with 61 points while the women captured 8th with 52 team points.
