Senior pitcher Kyle Plimpton earned the second All-Region nod of her career from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as a second team at-large selection in the Northeast region. She was also named to the second team in 2013.

A two-time Liberty League Pitcher of the Year, Plimpton finished her St. Lawrence career as the program leader in nearly every pitching category, including: wins in a season, shutouts in a season, saves in a season, innings pitched in a season, appearances in a season, career wins, career shutouts, career saves, and innings pitched over a career. She will also leave as the leader in single season strikeouts with 219 and has shattered the career strikeouts record with 756 total strikeouts.

During her senior season, the Buffalo, N.Y. native threw 145.1 of the Saints' 193.2 total innings and compiled a 13-11 record with a 2.36 earned run average. She led the Liberty League in strikeouts with 168, averaged more than a strikeout per inning and posted double-digit strikeouts in six games. Additionally, she held opponents to a .236 batting average.

Plimpton was one of seven Liberty League softball players to be named to All-Region teams by the NFCA this season.
