St. Lawrence University's riding team's class of 2015 made it a perfect four-for-four when it came to regional high point championships, winning a pair of weekend shows to cement yet another title.

The Saint seniors, whose resume includes back-to-back national championships in their first two years, have participated at nationals as a team in each of the previous three seasons and will be out to make their fourth straight appearance. The senior class includes 12 riders: Gwen Bailey, Hannah Chute, Emily D'Alessandro, Maddie Fernsel, Anna Haron, Amelia Heroux, Alexandra Hiple, Sheila Murray, Grace Segrave, Emma Sutphen, Lauryn Tannenhaus and Jamie Tempesta.

SLU won the final show of the regular season at the Elsa Gunnison Appleton Riding Hall on Sunday, clinching the show win with a victory in walk-trot by Maddie Fernsell in the final event of the day. SLU finished with 45 points with Cazenovia second with 39 and Geneseo third with 28 in a 10-team field.

The Saints, who went into the final weekend of regular show competition with a commanding 22 point lead over second place Cazenovia in the race for high point team, padded that lead with a 47-43 win over Cazenovia with Geneseo third on Saturday and wrapped up their fifth straight regional high point title on Sunday. SLU finished with a 32-point margin in the high point team race. The Saints won seven of eight shows this season.

In Saturday's show at Cazenovia, Morgan Oakes was reserve high point rider after a ride-off. Oakes won her class of intermediate over fences and was also first in novice on the flat.

Other Saint winners at Cazenovia included Alyssa Bokor and Emily D'Alessandro in open over fences, Jesse Fortier in intermediate on the flat, Gwen Bailey in novice flat, Erica Leach in walk-trot-canter and Casey Jones in walk-trot.

D'Alessandro was second in open on the flat with Fortier second in open fences, Anna Haron second in novice fences, Jamie Tempesta second in intermediate flat, Sheila Murray second in novice flat, Ali Hiple and Amelia Heroux second in walk-trot-canter and Fernsall second in walk-trot.

D'Alessandro and Fortier rode off for high point rider honors on Sunday with Fortier winning the ride off. Both won two events in the final regular season show, both winning classes in open over fences as the Saints swept the three classes in that competition and both also winning in open equitation on the flat.

Bokor also won in open over fences for the second straight day while Lillie Smith won in novice equitation over fences, Leah Menaul won in novice on the flat and Julia Robinson won in walk-trot-canter.

Lauren Nolan was second in intermediate over fences and novice on the flat, Ali Hiple was second in walk-trot-canter, Gwen Bailey was third in intermediate on the flat and Sheila Murray was third in novice flat.

The Saints will host the regional meet which qualifies individual riders to advance to zones on March 28.
