The 2015-16 Region 2 Zone 2 high point school race is off to a see-saw start after the first two weekends of competition.

St. Lawrence University won its second show of the season at Geneseo on Saturday, but its point lead vanished on Sunday when Cazenovia had a big home showMackenzie Alderman was third over fences and first on the flat at Geneseo Saturday win to take an eight point advantage through four shows. The region's teams take the coming weekend off and then complete fall show competition with the St. Lawrence home show on Nov. 21 and a second show at Cazenovia on Nov. 22.

The Saints won Saturday's show at Geneseo with 41 points with Cazenovia second with 39 and Oswego third with 31, but had a rare off-day on Sunday, finishing with 30 points while Cazenovia won at home with 43 and LeMoyne was second with 34.

In Saturday's show, Mackenzie Alderman, Jessie Fortier and Alyssa Bokor all finished third in open over fences with Fortier first in open on the flat, Alderman first in intermediate on the flat and Bokor second in open on the flat. Lily Barnard and Lillie Smith won their classes of intermediate fences with Cleo Mueller second in intermediate fences.

Emily Crabtree and Lauren Nolan were first in novice on the flat, Elizabeth Pagliuca was second in novice flat. Manon Edeline was first in beginner walk-trot-canter with Haley O'Brien third in walk-trot-canter, Fiona Fahey third in walk-trot and Will Grant fourth in walk-trot.

Annie Lufkin was first in novice on the flat and fourth in intermediate fences, Caitlin Doocy was first in novice fences and Fortier was first in open on the flat in Sunday's show at Cazenovia.

Bokor was second in both open over fences and on the flat, Alderman was third in open fences and Fortier was second in open fences. Sarah Buck was third in intermediate on the flat, Nolan was third in novice on the flat, Corey Rost fourth in beginner walk-trot-canter, Grant second in walk-trot and Fahey third in walk-trot.
