The St. Lawrence University men's crew team competed against Ithaca College and Skidmore College on the Cayuga Inlet on Saturday in Ithaca, NY. The Novice 8+ highlighted the day as it remained undefeated by edging out the Bombers for the gold medal.
St. Lawrence negotiated the 2000 meter course in 6:45.79, beating both Ithaca (6:46.09) and Skidmore (7:12.06).
The 2V and varsity four also competed, both earning second place finishes. The 2V finished in 6:49.81, just behind Ithaca A which finished in 6:45.43. Ithaca B rounded out the event in 6:54.48. The varsity 4 posted a time of 7:40.5, while Ithaca finished in 6.59.3.
The Saints will host Hamilton on Saturday and Union on Sunday in Waddington, NY on the St. Lawrence River.
