A 2-1 lead after doubles play helped the Saints secure the win, as the teams went on to split singles 3-3.
First-year Robert Schmitz was the only player to win in straight sets, beating Jonathan Cohen 6-1, 7-6 (2) in the third spot. Rhonny Rosario and Will Kauppila picked up the other wins for the Saints, as Rosario rebounded from being shut out 6-0 in the first set to down James Oliver 0-6, 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1. Kaupilla downed Matthew Billet 7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-5 at No. 5.
In a string of close doubles matches, the Saints prevailed in the second and third spots with Rosario and Elliot Solandt playing to an 8-6 win over Ian Antonoff and Billet, and John Megas and Tom Luchars downing Austin Lokre and Max McKee-Proctor, 8-5.
St. Lawrence, now 7-6 on the season, will continue its spring schedule with a non-conference match on the road against Nazareth on April 5.
