Kevin Frommer battled back after dropping the first set for a win in the sixth position to help the Saints preserve a 9-0 sweep of RIT on Sunday afternoon in Newell Field House. It is the first sweep for St. Lawrence since February 23 vs. St. Michaels.

Frommer lost the first set to Jason Alexander 4-6, but took the second 6-3 and the super breaker 10-3 for the win. The only other Saint needing three sets for a win was Rob Schmitz, as he rebounded after dropping the second to Kevin Layer for a 7-5, 4-6, 11-9 win at No. 3.

In the first spot, Rhonny Rosario picked up a 6-4, 6-2 victory over the Tigers' Chandler Daub, while John Megas downed Amos Baptiste 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2. Paul Barrett and Will Kauppila followed suit at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, with straight sets wins of their own.

The pairings of Schmitz and Barrett, Rosario and Elliot Solandt and Megas and Tom Luchars combined for a sweep of doubles to open the match. Rosario and Solandt were the only pair to shut out their opponents, posting an 8-0 win in the second spot.

The Saints will next play host to Rochester on April 12 at 1 p.m.
