The St. Lawrence men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Grinnell to finish its spring training schedule in Florida on Thursday afternoon. The Saints went 3-2 in Orlando and are 6-4 overall heading into their regular spring season.
John Megas and Robert Schmitz combined for the team's lone doubles win of the match at No. 1, edging Grinnell's Elliot Czarnecki and Tommy Pitcher, 8-5.
In singles it was Paul Barrett who earned a win for St. Lawrence, as he beat Tommy Pitcher in three sets, 6-0. 4-6, 10-3.
The Saints will next face Hamilton College on March 29 at 1:30 p.m. in the Newell Field House.
