The Saints men's tennis team swept Bard 9-0 in the first of two Liberty League matches this weekend on the Sammis Tennis Courts. With the win, St. Lawrence improves to 8-6 overall and 2-2 against conference teams.
Rhonny Rosario and Paul Barrett highlighted the Saints sweep of doubles with an 8-0 win at No. 3 over Nick George and Camille Wejnert-Depu. Rosario went on to win 6-4, 6-2 at first singles, while Barrett posted a straight set victory of his own at No. 4.
Senior John Megas was the other dual winner of the day for St. Lawrence, as he teamed with Robert Schmitz for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles and claimed a 6-4, 6-1 win at second singles.
The Saints will finish out their home schedule with a match against nationally-ranked Skidmore on Sunday, April 19.
