Veterans Grant Reeder, Kirby Kaylor, Henry McCormick and James Wilczewski each won a pair of events for the Saints, as did first-year Grant Fisher. Samuel Song all earned his first collegiate individual victory against the Thoroughbreds with the lone sub-one minute performance in the 100 fly.
Reeder edged out Skidmore's Nicolas Sauerbrunn by .26 seconds in the 200 freestyle and also swam a sub-1:00 200 backstroke at 59.04 for his second win of the afternoon.
Kaylor and first-year Brandon Walker finished one-two, respectively, in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events. Kaylor posted times of 23.24 and 51.32, while Walker wasn't far behind clocking in at 23.45 and 51.39.
In his first collegiate race, Grant Fisher swam a time of 10:43.12 in the 1000-yard freestyle; more than 15 seconds faster than Skidmore's Gabe Salitan-Alvarez, who finished second. St. Lawrence junior Matt Bauer, who led for a portion of the race, finished third, clocking in at 11:13.70.
Fisher also took first in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:08.25.
McCormick earned his wins for the Scarlet and Brown in the 200-yard IM (2:11.93) and 100 breast (1:07.36)
Wilczewski swept the diving events, and the Saints finished one, two, three on the one meter board. Wilczewski led the way with 251.85 points, Alex Blake was second with 250.75 and William Moran finished third with 205.40.
On the three meter, Wilczewski was the only diver to break 300 (300.40).
The Saints will continue their dual meet schedule at Clarkson on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
