St. Lawrence University's men's squash team will take a 12-1 record into its final 2014-15 regular season match at ninth-ranked Franklin and Marshall on Sunday after rolling to a 9-0 win over Hamilton College in Clinton on Saturday.
The Saints, ranked second nationally, did not lose a game in the top nine matches against the Continentals, now 5-8 on the season.
Rookies occupied the top three spots in the Saint lineup and swept their Hamilton foes, Edgar Zayas beating Ted Black 11-2, 11-7, 11-7 at one, Ahmed Bayoumy with a 11-2, 11-4, 11-4 win over Josh Wolpert at two and Hussien Elrayes with a 11-5, 11-4, 11-2 win over Mac Pivorotto at three.
Saint seniors Anderson Good and Duncan Maxwell were winners at four and five, Good beating Marc Dudzik 11-1, 11-2, 11-5 and Maxwell with a 11-5, 11-3, 11-5 win over Peter Harrison. Freshman Lockie Munro beat Walker Lourie 11-2, 11-3, 11-2 at six, senior Chris Fernandez beat David Laub 11-3, 11-6, 11-6 at seven and senior Sebastian Riedelsheimer was a 11-4, 11-4, 11-8 winner over Ted Nehrbas at eight. Tim Lasusa completed the Saint sweep with a 11-6, 11-9, 11-4 win over Jon Ruth at nine and Seetreeon Torrest won the exhibition match at ten 3-1 over Mark Sperry, 11-9, 11-6, 6-11, 11-8.
