Liberty League rivals St. Lawrence University and the University of Rochester landed five of the ten first-team All Americas in the 2014 College Squash Association All America men's squash teams as announced on Thursday.
Saint freshman Moustafa Bayoumy and sophomore Amr Khaled Khalifa were joined by a trio of Rochester players on the first team. Princeton, Rochester and Trinity had three players each on the first and second teams while the Saints, Harvard and Columbia had two each.
Khalifa is a two-time first team All America after first and second place finishes in CSA individual nationals in his first two seasons of intercollegiate squash. He was runner-up this past season and has a two-season record of 25-2, going 10-2 this past season. He was selected as the Liberty League Player of the Year for the second straight season.
Bayoumy made the semifinals of the CSA individual nationals in his first season of intercollegiate squash, going 18-1 with his lone loss coming to national individual champion Ali Faraq of Harvard in the semifinal. He was selected as Liberty League Rookie of the Year.
