The St. Lawrence University Men's Lacrosse team defeated Amherst 16-12 Wednesday earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament Semifinals which will be hosted by Tufts University in Medford, MA near Boston. The game will be at 5 pm Sunday at Bello Field on the Tufts campus. Ticket sales will begin at 4 pm with adult tickets priced at $8 while students and Senior Citizen tickets will be $5.
The Saints (18-2) advanced with its 16-12 victory while Tufts took a 19-7 victory over Ithaca to advance to the semifinals. In the Southern half of the bracket, Salisbury, an 11-10 overtime winner over Denison, and Gettysburg, a 7-6 overtime winner over York (PA), will meet Sunday in Salisbury at 7 pm.
