St. Lawrence University's men's cross country team moved up to first in the NCAA Atlantic Region and to seventh in the nation in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III men's national coaches poll.

The Saints, coming off the Liberty League championship and their 20th straight conference title, swapped places with SUNY Geneseo in the Atlantic Regional poll and moved up three spots in the national poll from tenth to seventh.

North Central leads the national poll for men with Wisconsin Eau-Claire second, St. Olaf third and Williams forth. UW Lacrosse is fifth followed by Colby, SLU, MIT, Geneseo and Washington (MO) to complete the top ten.

The Saints are idle Nov. 8 and will run in the Atlantic Regional in Rochester on Nov. 15 with an eye on making a seventh straight team appearance in the NCAA Championships.
