The St. Lawrence University alpine ski teams raced at the 2015 Dartmouth Carnival this weekend at the Dartmouth Skiway, as the Saints were led by first-year Hayes Graham's ninth place overall finish in Friday's giant slalom.

Graham picked up his second collegiate top-10 finish by posting a pair of top-16 runs in the GS and propelling himself into the mix for a spot in the NCAA Championships. He was joined in the scoring by Taber Engelken and Kei Kullberg, who were 25th and 28th respectively to place St. Lawrence in sixth as a team. Nick Stenicka and Dan Martin rounded out the team's line-up in 31st and 32nd in the GS.

In Saturday's slalom, it was Stenicka who led the Scarlet and Brown with his seventh career top-20 in 17th place overall. Graham followed in 31st while Martin scored for the team for the first time in 39th place as the team was ninth overall. Kullberg also raced for St. Lawrence in the slalom and was 46th.

On the women's side, Maria Hillenbrand recorded a new career-best finish in 16th place overall on Saturday in the women's slalom. The Steamboat Springs, CO native posted the sixth-fastest second run with a time of 54.07 to move up 12 spots and lead the Saints to seventh place as a team. Sydney Henegan (29th) and Alita Rogers (32nd) scored in the slalom, while Eliza Cowie (37th) and Allison Visconti (DNF) also competed for St. Lawrence.

Visconti was the top finisher for the Scarlet and Brown in Friday's giant slalom race in 24th position, while Henegan and newcomer Julia Ristine capped the scoring in 26th and 27th place, respectively. The trio combined for 64.0 points and landed in sixth place in the team standings. Rogers (41st), Cowie (42nd) and Hillenbrand (DNF) also raced in the GS.

The University of Vermont swept the men's team titles, as Griffin Brown (GS) and William St. Germain (SL) won the individual titles for the Catamounts. Meanwhile, it was Dartmouth College that swept the events on the women's side, including individual winters Libby Gibson (GS) and Maisie Ide (SL) for the Big Green.

The Saints head into the stretch run of the EISA circuit, as they compete at the Middlebury Carnival next weekend before hosting the 2015 NCAA Regional Championships in Lake Placid on February 27 and 28.
