The St. Lawrence University Football team is in the NCAA Tournament for the second time since 2010 and for the second time the first round opponent for the Saints will be Mount Union with a noon game Saturday November 21 in Alliance, Ohio.

Tickets are available for advance purchase at $8 each and can be purchased from the following link: http://athletics.mountunion.edu/sports/fball/singlegametickets15-NCAA_First_Round and picked up at the main gate to the stadium on game day starting at 10:30 am.

In 2010, the Saints (8-2) dropped a 49-0 game in Ohio and will face the undefeated Purple Raiders (10-0).

The other half of the bracket is a matchup of Albright (9-1) and Norwich (6-4) with the winner of that game meeting the winner of the Mount Union-St. Lawrence matchup November 28.

The Saints are led by senior quarterback Mike Lefflbine who has done his best to completely rewrite the St. Lawrence University record book in 2015. The shotgun quarterback set the career records for attempts, completions, yards and TDs during the season and has also established new season records for completions, yards and TDs.

Lefflbine's favorite targets have been junior tight end Mitch Gallagher (49 catches for 499 yards and seven TDs) and sophomore wide receiver Vincenzo Ferraro (45 receptions for 565 yards and five TDs). Another favorite target is senior wide receiver/defensive back Leondre Simmon who despite having just 21 catches, has taken seven of those in for TDs.

Seniors Maurice Irby and Jake Gnieser are the top runners combining for 158 carries and 761 yards and four TDs.

Defensively, the Saints are led by sophomore linebacker Skyler Williamson with 93 tackles and is coming off a career-high 18 stops against Merchant Marine. Chyron Brown-Wallace is next with 66 tackles, 22 for loss and 11 ½ sacks. His tackles for loss and sack totals are among the nation's best in each category.

James Holley-Grisham leads an experienced defensive backfield that includes Simmon and freshman Isreal Squires. The trio has combined for 15 interceptions and 17 pass breakups.
