Three seniors and two sophomores on St. Lawrence University's 2013 field hockey team were named to the Liberty League Field Hockey All Star team in voting by the league's coaches.

Seniors Emma Berry and Nicole Matos were named as first team selections while senior Kate Higgins and sophomores Kara Pelosi and Lizzy Saward were honorable mention choices.

Berry, a four-year regular for the Saints and a second-team All Liberty League choice as a junior, was selected as a first-team back. She started every game in her last three seasons, a stretch of 50 straight games, and contributed two goals and two assists as a member of the penalty corner unit in her senior season. She finishes her career with three goals and 10 assists for 16 points in 62 games.

Matos, also a four-year regular, was named first team goalkeeper for the second time in her career. She came back from an illness-shortened junior year to start every game as a senior and set a program record for career saves, finishing with 530 in 53 games. She had 177 saves in her senior year and a .827 save percentage which ranked in the top 25 nationally. Matos was also first-team All Liberty League as a sophomore.

Higgins, a forward, played in all but one game in her career for the Saints and had two goals and six assists for 10 points in her senior season. She finished her career with three goals and nine assists in 65 career starts.

Saward was the leading scorer for the Saints as a sophomore with seven goals and three assists for 17 points with two game winning goals. She has 10 goals and four assists in 31 career appearances. Pelosi finished her sophomore year with five goals and two assists for 12 points and played in all 17 games.
