Andrew Schreyack earned his first collegiate win and Taylor Engle had a two run double in a six-run second inning as St. Lawrence University's baseball team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 7-4 win over Otterbein in Florida on Monday.

The Saints, who have Tuesday off, received two hits from Khifer O'Connor and Paul Piatelli in the win as they overcame an early Otterbein lead for the win. SLU beat Mitchell College 6-5 in its opener at Ft. Myers on Saturday and split with Fredonia, winning 9-4 before sustaining their first loss 12-4 on Sunday.

Schreyack surrendered four earned runs and struck out three in 6.6 innings of work while Kyle Donaldson pitched two scoreless innings for the save.

Engle's two-run double and O'Connor's two-run single were the big hits in the second while Bryan Palmero drove in two runs with a ground out and a single. The Saints return to action on Wednesday with a 10 a.m. game against Elms College.
