For just the second time in program history and the first time under Head Coach Elisa Van Kirk, the St. Lawrence softball team has earned a regional ranking from the NCAA.
The Saints, who at the time of voting were 12-10, are currently 13-11 overall and have been ranked No. 9 in the Northeast region this week. They are one of three Liberty League institutions in the polls this week; joining Rochester (No. 2) and Rensselaer (No. 8).
St. Lawrence split with then-No. 4 RPI in Troy last weekend and will place host to Rochester in their final home games of the season on Sunday, April 26 on the Saints Softball Field.
