St. Lawrence University junior Ashley-Kate Durham earned 2012 All-East Second Team honors for her performances throughout the EISA Carnival season.
Durham, a native of Timmins, ON, highlighted her regular season with her first career EISA victory. She won the giant slalom race at the 2012 UVM Carnival, becoming the first Saint to win a conference race.
"Ashley had another outstanding year and we're looking forward to this week's NCAA Championships," said St. Lawrence head coach Willi Steinrotter. "She's a tremendous competitor and we expect her to do well this week."
Durham, who finished 3rd in the slalom at the 2011 NCAA Championships to earn a spot on the podium, will be joined this week by fellow alpine skiers Dustin Martin and Graham Scott. Both Martin and Scott are making their first appearances at the collegiate national championships.
Nordic senior Caroline Carpenter was also awarded 2012 All-East Second Team honors and will compete this week for the Saints as well.
