Two members of the St. Lawrence men's diving team wrapped up competition this afternoon in the 2014 NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regionals at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
Fresh off of competition the previous evening, first years Alex Blake and James Wilczewski finished strong on the 3-meter board, but did not secure spots for the NCAA Championships. Wilczewski posted a score of 407.97 points finishing 15th, while Blake posted a score of 400.90 points finishing 16th.
Commenting on the performances this weekend, diving coach Trevor Herzog stated, "I am very proud of both Alex and James. This competition was a great learning experience for us and now we know what it takes to compete for a national spot. I look forward to building on this success next season ."
