St. Lawrence University junior Aimee Caligiore shot rounds of 76 and 81 and finished fourth in the field at the Jack Leaman Invitational women's golf tournament hosted by Amherst College on Sunday.
Caligiore's 76 tied for third in the first round and her 81 was the ninth best score in Sunday's second round. It was her eighth top five finish in nine outings this season.
The Saint team finished 12th in the tournament with a 379-403 total. Melissa Snizek tied for 36th overall with rounds of 90 and 89 for a 179 total while Maddie Moore was tied for 57th with rounds of 96 and 98. Caroline Cushman was the fourth Saint golfer in the tournament and finished 65th.
The Saints will conclude their spring season at Nazareth April 29-30 with Caligiore looking to nail down an individual bid to the NCAA tournament for the second straight season.
