Seniors to be Abigail Owens, Chloe Knapp, Faith Seeley and Caroline Bailey will captain the 2016 St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team, head coach Ashley Pike announced.
Owens, Knapp and Bailey play attack while Seeley is a defender for the Saints.
Owens, from Shelburne, VT, tied for the scoring lead for the Saints as a junior with 21 goals and six assists for 27 points, she had seven draw controls and scored the game winning goal in the Saints' season-opening win over Castleton. She has played in 32 games in three season for the Saints and has 33 goals and nine assists in her career.
Knapp, Glens Falls, NY, scored 17 goals and had four assists for 21 points in her junior and has 39 goals and eight assists in three seasons for the Saints.
Bailey, Hingham, MA, missed most of the 2015 season due to injury and has played in 29 games with 28 goals and eight assists for her career.
Seeley, Marcellus, NY, has played in 32 games in her first three seasons and was among the Saint leaders in ground balls and caused turnovers in her junior season.
