Kei Kullberg finished the men's giant slalom in 12th place to lead the St. Lawrence University Alpine skiing team on day two of the Middlebury College Winter Carnival at the Snowbowl on Saturday.
Kullberg finished the course with a time of two minutes and 4.06 seconds, earning 30 points for the Saints. He moved up from 17th-place after his first run of the day. Kullberg's was just 0.28 seconds away from his third top-10 finish of the season.
Dan Martin completed the course in 2:05.02, placing 24th and earning 21 points. Hayes Graham came in 26th with a time of 2:05.06 to earn 19 points
Riley Greene (31st, 2:05.55) also completed on Saturday.
Riley Whitney led the women's team with a 34th-place finish with a time of 2:13.06 to earn 17 points for the Saints. Lindsay Ahmann finished 36th, completing the course with a time of 2:13.37 to add 15 points. Eliza Cowie added 14 points, finishing 38th in 2:13.81.
Julia Ristine (42nd, 2:14.94) also competed for the Saints on Saturday.
The men finished fifth in the giant slalom, while the women were eighth. Combined with the score from the Nordic team, St. Lawrence finished in ninth place to wrap up the weekend.
The Saints will travel to Sunday River in Waterville, Maine, to compete in the NCAA Eastern Regional at the Bates College Carnival next weekend.
