PLATTSBURGH--The St. Lawrence University volleyball team defeated Buffalo State in straight sets (25-16, 25-15, 25-19) at the Cardinal Classic in Plattsburgh today to extend its winning streak to nine matches.
Nyasha Miller led the Saints offense with six kills and six service aces. Jordyn Buzza and Liz Grogan also added six kills apiece. Abby Rose recorded 25 assists.
The Saints will play today at 4pm in the championship match as they look to take the Cardinal Classic title for the second year in a row.
