(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women’s soccer team made sure they gave their three departing players a rousing sendoff as the Roos rolled over Paul Smith’s College 5-0 Tuesday night in their final home game of the season.
Senior defender Stephanie Clark (Framingham, Mass.) will graduate this year, junior midfielder Ricci Celia (Essex Junction, Vt.) will be doing an internship next year, and sophomore goalie Holli-Jo Cota (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) will be earning her associates degres. All three players were honored prior to the start of the game.
“This was a special night for us to honor and recognize Steph, Ricci and Holli-Jo who have meant so much to our program,” said head coach Kate Thomas-Moody. “Our entire team played extremely well and it was a terrific way to go out in our final home game.”
