Buffalo, NY – The SUNY Canton women's soccer team was unable to get the offense going as it dropped a 9-0 road contest to D'Youville College on Saturday.
D'Youville College jumped out to an early 2-0 after 16 minutes of play and took a 5-0 lead into intermission. The Spartans continued to control play in the second half tacking on four more scores.
Kiernan Johnson led the way with three goals, while Magan Magee and Melissa LaVere added two each. Kristina DiNardo (Ottawa, ON) led the Roos with two shots on goal.
Kelsi Gilbert (Colton, NY) stopped eight shots for the Roos, while Megan Dulniak made six saves in the shutout for the Spartans.
