Randolph Center, VT – The SUNY Canton women's basketball team won its fourth game in the past five days as it defeated the University of Maine Presque Isle, 55-52, Wednesday evening on the campus of Vermont Technical College.
The Roos earned their second three point win in the five day span once again using tremendous balance. CaseyLynn Fulton (Saint Cloud, MN) continued her impressive play finishing with a team-high 16 points, 12 of which came after halftime, while adding nine rebounds. Taylor Saltus (Clintonville, NY) and Karyss Terrance (Hogansburg, NY) added 10 points each, while Brianna Sayer (Hermon, NY) recorded nine points and a team-high 15 rebounds.
Logan Tallman (Heuvelton, NY) added six points, while Tatiana Laroche (Elmont, NY) rounded out the scoring with four points and chipped in 11 rebounds. The women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Sunday when it hosts the University of Maine at Fort Kent at 12:00 p.m. in the Roos House.
