(Presque Isle, Maine)- The SUNY Canton women’s soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback to the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Sunday.
Freshman goalie Laura Pratt (Binghamton, N.Y.) made her first career start in goal and made a career-high 11 saves for the Roos, who are ranked 16th in the latest USCAA Coaches Poll.
The Owls, ranked 13th in the USCAA, scored two goals in the first half and one more in the second to post the victory.
The Roos hit the road for their next game on Oct. 15 when they travel to Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, Vt. The Roos beat the Green Knights 6-0 in their first meeting on Sept. 24. in Canton.
